Noah has dedicated his life to helping people leverage their technology to it’s full potential. There are a few things you should gather before you reach out for help.

Step 1. Make sure TIM is there…

TIM helps us make sure that I have everything I need to help you with your problem or geek project.

Tools:

What tools will I need to help you? You may not know the answer to this but worry not as a fellow lover of gadgets and gizmos, I probobly do. I just need to know to find…err bring it for your project. Here are some things that will help me understand what tools might be helpful to us.

• The make and model of any device we’re working on.
• Are we buying something, building something, or fixing something?
• Do you know of any special tools we will need? (ie: screw heads that that are NOT slotted or cross (Phillips) etc.)
• Are we working indoors or outdoors?

Information:

The more information you can provide about your problem or project the higher the likelyhood that I will be able to help you. The more information you are able to gather ahead of time, the more productive our time will be together.

• What is the overall scope of your project and your end goal?
• What (if any) planning or research have you done already and what have you concluded?
• What (if any) budget do you have for your project?
• What is the timeline for your project?
• Where is the location of your project?
• How can I help you with your project?

Material (Parts):

Most of the time we can source parts or materials quickly for your project. Between big box stores and large online retailors, it’s become easy to purchase even the most esoteric of things. Altispeed Technologies stocks all manner of geek stuff, but sometimes we need to order parts ahead of time. The more detail you can provide about the scope and end goal of your project, the more clear what materials are required will be.

• Have you purchased anything already?

• Do you suspect anything is damaged or otherwise not working?
• What (if any) cables / cable ends are we working with?
• Do you know of any special parts we will need for your project?
