Critical Thought: The Launch!
When I see a problem I have the immediate and almost uncontrollable desire to want to fix it. If I can’t fix a problem, my curiosity then drives me to learn and understand why. I see a lot of problems in our world, but I believe that with conversation comes change.
Meaningful conversation is predicated on the idea that we want to understand each other. The meaningful conversation I’m talking about isn’t possible if our goal is only to be understood.
When we are able to remove labels, dig into the nuance, and apply critical thought, that’s where I believe meaningful conversation is born.
